Pacific Northwest native Terry Travis couldn’t be happier to finally have landed in a place with abundant sunshine to dry out a bit! After criss crossing the country in the 80’s, with stops in Boston and New York, she finally settled down to play radio in Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington. Stints as a street reporter and morning radio show host came next, made talking with residents of the Duke City seem like a logical career step.
Married to Bruce (known as “The Big Chair…because, well, he has a big recliner he’s rather fond of) with two pushy, noisy little dogs, in her spare time you’ll find her out looking for rocks, camping in her RV, or playing her ukulele. Or yelling at the dogs in her radio voice – they seem to listen better! Loving New Mexico, Terry is eager to get out and explore this beautiful state even more.
