A car chase from Albuquerque to Grants Sunday afternoon ends with the arrest of the suspects. It started around 5:30 PM when Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Deputies were sent to Bridge and Goff Southwest. It came after getting a call about an armed suspect in a Jeep Cherokee who allegedly fired shots at the driver of another vehicle. The shots destroyed that person’s side mirror.
Deputies located the offenders’ vehicle at Gun Club and Coors but the suspects in the vehicle drove off and lead deputies on a car chase to Grants. They were finally arrested after they got out of their Jeep and tried to flee on foot.
