Santa Fe Police Officers could soon be rolling through the Plaza on Segways. The Santa Fe New Mexican reports the police departments wants to buy two Segways to use for seasonal patrols on the Plaza as well as at community events.
The cost of the two Segways would cost just over $27,000. The proposal from the police department was presented last week to the city’s Public Safety Committee.
