People who enjoy the trail system along the Rio Grande River in Corrales are being advised to use caution. Mike Hamman with the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District explains there’s a high-use area for recreational trails that is now flooded.
The flooding is due to the high water level in the Rio Grande. Hamman says using the flooded trails can damage them. He says there’s also the risk of injury to both people and horses.
