Another Conscious Campus Forum is being held Monday at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales. Conscious Campus is an initiative from New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas to bring higher awareness of campus sexual assaults to state colleges and universities.
Another aspect of the initiative is to look for ways to intervene. Sonya Carasco Trujillo with the AG’s Office says they’re also working with campus police departments.
Monday’s forum at Eastern New Mexico University starts at 5:30 PM in the Union Ballroom.
