Want to be a substitute teacher at APS? Now’s the time to apply. The district is looking to hire around 200 substitutes to help ease the overall teacher shortage. You can apply online through the district’s website aps.edu. Spokeswoman Johanna King says they’re always in need of substitutes because of the full-time teacher shortage, particularly in special ed, bilingual, math, and science.
