APD Swat Officer Daniel Hughes was justified when he shot and killed Air Force veteran Armand Martin on Albuquerque’s west side in 2014. That’s the ruling Wednesday from the Bernalillo County DA’s office. Police were called to the home in Ventana Ranch after family members said Martin had threatened them with a gun. Police say Hughes killed Martin with a single shot.
