The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions reports total non-farm payroll employment decreased by 2,300 jobs, or two-tenths of a percent between November of 2015 and this last month. Six industries added jobs but seven others reported losses.
The state’s unemployment rate was 6.7% in November, the same as it was in October but up from 6.6% a year ago. Nationally, the rate is 4.6%.
