APS Keeps Reedy

The Albuquerque Public School Board has voted to extend the contract of Superintendent Raquel Reedy by a year. She’ll now run the district through June of 2019. Reedy has been the permanent superintendent since April of this year.

Ready earns $240,000 a year.

The vote to extend the contract was five-to-two, with Analee Maestas and Peggy Mueller Aragon voting no. The pair felt the decision should be left up the the board that will be elected in February.
