Frank Leaves UNM Sooner Than Planned

UNM President Robert Frank will be leaving his position at the end of this month. He had planned on leaving when his contract expired at the the end of next May. The move follows an agreement between the Board of Regents and Frank. Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Chaouki Abdallah, takes over on January 1st as the acting president. The Board says it plans to make a decision on a new president by early spring. Frank remains at UNM with the Family and Community Health Department of the Health Sciences Center.
