Teen Cops Plea in Mobbing Murder Case

The suspect Albuquerque Police say was the trigger man in the murder of bartender Steven Gerecke could get 25 years in prison now that he’s plead guilty to first degree murder. The Bernalillo County DA’s Office tells New Radio KKOB 18 year-old Jeremiah King will be sentenced as an adult.

Police say King and five other teens were breaking into homes and cars when Gerecke confronted them in his driveway and was shot in July of 2015. King is the only defendant to plead guilty to murder.
