John Boehner

With John Boehner elected again to be Speaker of the House of Representatives, it sends the message that Congress is just going to continue to do business as usual.  During the November Mid Term elections the voters sent a clear and powerful message by giving the GOP more seats in the House and taking the Senate, not to mention sending more conservatives to Washington, that they want change.  The change they wanted was a tougher more conservative approach to government, something we have not seen with Speaker Boehner.  The elected Republicans have let down the voters once again, there was no serious challenge to Boehner and he walked away with the speakership again.  Someone needed to and should have stepped up and challenged him, in this age of social media and immediate news the right person could have easily made a case for speaker and a ground swell of support would have followed. It's like the GOP was just interested in winning the elections, not actually changing the way Congress governs.
