SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) Ski Santa Fe had fresh snow on the ground as it wrapped up its season on Sunday. According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, the ski area got a half-foot of fresh snow during the past week, including several inches Saturday night.
Early snow in November allowed Ski Santa to open in Thanksgiving, an earlier- than normal start in recent years. However, it had four weeks in the middle of the season without snow, though nearly all runs were able to stay open.
