With Donald Trump now willing to spend 2 Million dollars a week on television ads in the in first primary states of Iowa and New Hampshire, it has sent a clear message that Trump does not just want to win these states but to dominate them. Four weeks out from Iowa and Ted Cruz is still clinging onto a slim lead, and now Trump dumping money into the state, but not to attack Cruz but to attack Obama/Clinton. The Trump campaign set aside 25 Million dollars to fund television advertising in 2015, and they did not spend a dime of it, they did not have to. Trump gets all the free media attention he wants, he does not have to pay for it. Because Trump is willing to use this kind of money on provocative ads, tells me he is now moving into another phrase of the campaign where he portraying the presumptive nominee. This suits him well he is looking more and more like a leader. The three primary states that begin this election cycle are critical for Trump; Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. Trump needs two, first places and a second, his support wanes as the primary campaign will move west. It is imperative that Trump rack up as early many victories as possible. That is why he is now willing to spend money.
