Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — An Albuquerque mother was found guilty by a jury Thursday for the fatal shooting of a homeless woman 2-years ago. Kristina Withrow was convicted of second-degree murder after prosecutors say she handed a gun to her 18-year-old son, who killed Monique Garcia as they tried to get her to leave a neighbor’s property. The son — Kristian Crespin — pled guilty to second-degree murder last year for doing the shooting. The shooting happened in the area of Zuni and San Mateo Southeast.
