Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The calling out of the National Guard is not sitting well with Albuquerque City Councilor Dan Lewis. He tells KKOB’s Morning Show with Bob Clark, if APD needs more officers, they can have them. Lewis says Mayor Keller’s establishment of the Albuquerque Community Safety Department to send social workers on calls is misguided, and those employees should be police officers.
