Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The race for Governor of New Mexico has a clear frontrunner, when it comes to campaign finance. Former Congresswoman and Interior Secretary Deb Haaland reports nearly $2.9-million in her coffers, while fellow Democrat District Attorney Sam Bregman reported Monday to having $76-thousand in his war chest. On the Republican side, Rio Rancho Mayor Gregg Hull reports he’s raised $200-thousand. Of course, he hasn’t announced a run just yet, but that’s expected on June 2nd. Governor Lujan Grisham spent $13-million on her last election victory.
