Arsonist caught

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The US Attorney says they’ve caught a suspect political arsonist. An Albuquerque man has been arrested in connection with last month’s firebombing of the New Mexico Republican Party headquarters. 40-year-old Jamison Wagner is also charged in the vandalism of the Tesla Albuquerque showroom in February. The FBI was able to identify him in both cases from surveillance video. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said, quoting – “firebombing is not political protest. It is a dangerous felony and we will prosecute to the maximum extent.” A search warrant was executed in Wagner’s northwest Albuquerque home on Saturday. Current charges are for malicious damage by fire or explosives, but domestic terrorism counts could be added later.
