Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The Bosque has gone to the goats. The City of Albuquerque’s Parks and Recreation Department has once again teamed up with Galloping Goats for wildfire mitigation efforts in the Bosque. Over the next two weeks, about 145 goats, along with a few sheep, will be grazing in the Tingley and Alcalde areas to help reduce invasive plants and naturally fertilize the soil. However, due to the ongoing project, some trails in the Tingley and Alcalde areas are temporarily closed.
