Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The deadly shooting at a northeast Albuquerque apartment complex early Wednesday was a robbery that left a 14-year-old boy dead. APD says the boy was with a group of teens who tried to rob a woman who was also shot and injured. The woman’s husband returned fire, killing Alonzo Sanderson. Another teen, Jeriah Salas, is now facing numerous felony counts, while 5 others – ages 12 to 17 – were arrested. The shooting happened at The Ridge Apartments at Copper and Tramway. The husband is not facing charges.
