Bucks for pallet shelters

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — $2-million dollars for tiny homes is being added to this year’s budget for Santa Fe after the City Council voted to approve the move Wednesday. Mayor Alan Webber says the community has been supportive of the idea of so-called “pallet shelters.” The re-allocated money would be used to construct 30 pallet shelters on each of 4 undetermined sites. Staff would also be on hand for support, which the city is asking state lawmakers to pay for.
