Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — New Mexico’s Attorney General has issued guidance for dealing with increased immigration enforcement, while also denouncing the removal of safe spaces like churches and schools from raids. Raul Torrez’ office issued papers on how churches and healthcare clinics can respond to assure the rights of their patrons are protected. While saying he supports enhanced border security and targeted enforcement, Torrez said, quote – “rounding up children, crime victims and sick people is beneath the dignity of a great nation.”
