Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Dakota Briscoe of Albuquerque man was sentenced in federal court to 25 years in prison for a violent crime spree that began with a double murder in September of 2020. The 38 year old Briscoe used a handgun to attack two men in their yard near Central and Atrisco and then torched their bodies inside of a car. Afterwards, Briscoe then attempted multiple armed car jackings, while evading arrest and successfully took one vehicle. When released from prison, he will undergo four years of supervised release.
