Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A new program provides government-funded Housing Counseling and legal support for homeowners facing financial difficulties with their mortgage payments. The state of New Mexico in partnership with United South Broadway Corporation, eligible homeowners can access HUD-certified Housing Counseling and legal services to navigate their foreclosure options. To be eligible, homeowners must reside in New Mexico, and face challenges with their mortgage payments or foreclosure. There are no income caps for Housing Counseling services, and legal representation is available for income-qualified homeowners.
