Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — There could be bi-partisan support to delay an electric vehicle mandate when the legislature convenes next week. Carlos Garcia of the Garcia Auto Group says there’s no way that 43-percent of vehicle sales in New Mexico will be EV’s by 2026. He tells KKOB’s Morning Show with Bob Clark car manufacturers are nowhere near ready to provide that many EV’s to dealerships. Garcia says the mandate must be delayed because it cannot be achieved.
