Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The Director of Santa Fe’s Public Works was arrested over the weekend. John Dupuis is charged with stealing another passenger’s baggage at the regional airport. He reportedly told police he thought the box belonged to a friend, so he took it. When questioned at his home by officers, Dupuis said he realized the mistake, but had not yet had the chance to return the box to the airport. The City of Santa Fe has now put their Public Works and Utilities Director on unpaid administrative leave.
