Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — There’s been an 18-percent decline in overdose deaths in New Mexico, according to the Centers for Disease Control. However, the figures from July of last year to July 2024 indicated 825 New Mexicans were killed by drugs in that time, with fentanyl responsible for the most.
