Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Detectives with the Albuquerque Police Department are investigating a suspicious death after a woman was found deceased on Coal Avenue SW. Around 8:30 a.m., APD officers were dispatched to conduct a welfare check at a residence in the 1200 block of Coal Avenue SW after a neighbor had not been seen for several days. Upon arrival, officers discovered the woman’s body at the scene. Due to evidence found, authorities are treating the case as a suspicious death. The investigation remains active.
