Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The 2024 General Election in New Mexico is now official, as the State Canvas Board certified the November 5th results. The total ballots cast came in at just over 928-thousand, or 67-percent of registered voters. There are still races to be determined as a recount has been ordered in the House District 57 race for Sandoval County between Republican Catherine Cullen and Democrat Michelle Sandoval. The GOP candidate leads by 130 votes. A Los Alamos County Commissioner race is also ordered for a recount. Both will be certified by the Board on December 16th.
