Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Several New Mexico cities set heat records on Sunday, including Albuquerque. The Sunport topped out at 81 degrees, one-degree above the 1952 record for October 27th. The National Weather Service says Tucumcari set a new mark at 89 degrees while Roswell’s 90 was 3 points higher than the previous record. In Albuquerque, the temperature was 15 degrees over what’s normal for this time of year.
