Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Federal officials have charged Francisco Lujan and Sergio Gonzalez with conspiracy to transport illegal aliens in connection to a migrant stash house in Las Cruces. On Tuesday, the U.S. Border Patrol set up surveillance near a home where they suspected migrants were being brought in from El Paso. After receiving consent to enter the house, agents found 11 foreign nationals who admitted to being in the United States without authorization. Gonzalez stated the migrants would be dropped off near a Border Patrol highway checkpoint, and then picked up a short distance north after they went around the checkpoint. Adding, he would then drive them to Albuquerque and drop off the migrants at a local business.
