Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The identity of the pilot killed when his a single engine stunt plane crash during Sunday’s Las Cruces Air and Space Expo has been revealed. Charles T. ‘Chuck’ Coleman, who was also an aerobatic flight instructor for actors in the 2022 movie “Top Gun: Maverick.” Coleman worked as an engineer, aerobatics and test pilot, and airshow performer. The crash is under investigation by the F-A-A and the National Transportation Safety Board.
