Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — More and more UNM students are changing majors so they can become teachers. The College of Education and Human Sciences reports 3-hundred switches to teaching majors are happening each year, totaling over 15-hundred in the past 5 years. Some students say they now believe teaching is more important that their previous major, while others cite the great job prospects when they graduate.
