Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A joint City-County outreach for public input on how to spend $50-million in opioid lawsuit settlement money is complete. Hundreds of residents responded over the summer to a variety of town halls, digital surveys and listening sessions. The Albuquerque City Council and Bernalillo County Commissioners are expected to formally vote on the spending plan in November, after they hear a presentation about it later this month. Mayor Tim Keller said the opioid epidemic has such a broad impact on the community, it was important to let everyone have their say about the settlement cash.
