PNM continues work in Santa Fe near Hyde Park Road

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Work in this area is expected to last from Monday, April 22, until the end of the summer. This project is a continued powerline rebuild that aims to improve electrical reliability and resiliency in this area.

Part of this project requires contractors to perform underground utility work and install new equipment to improve the line. This work may create temporary traffic delays on Hyde Park Road during time of construction. In an effort to minimize delays, traffic control and barriers will be present at all times work is being done. PNM will also have traffic flaggers at the ends of each section of construction and at each crossroad within the section to keep traffic flowing. Please be cautious when driving through this area.

Once the project is complete, the road will be repaved, and traffic will return to normal.
