Severe Weather Season?

WHILE THE NATION’S MIDSECTION CONTINUES TO BE PLAGUED BY STRONG STORMS AND EVEN TORNADOES, IT’S BEEN A DIFFERENT STORY IN NEW MEXICO. ALYSSA CLEMENTS IS A METEOROLOGIST WITH THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE. CLEMENTS SAYS THE WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED 25 SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS THIS SPRING…THE FEWEST NUMBER IN SIX YEARS.

THERE HAVE ALSO BEEN FOUR TORNADO WARNINGS. CLEMENTS SAYS THE STORM TRACK USUALLY FAVORS OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS MORE THAN NEW MEXICO.
