NEW MEXICO ATTORNEY GENERAL HECTOR BALDERAS SAYS DAVON LYMON WILL BE SPENDING THE REST OF HIS LIFE BEHIND BARS FOLLOWING HIS SENTENCING ON TUESDAY. LYMON WAS CONVICTED LAST MONTH ON 8 COUNTS, INCLUDING FIRST DEGREE MURDER, FOR KILLING ALBUQUERQUE POLICE OFFICER DANIEL WEBSTER IN OCTOBER OF 2015.
THE CONVICTION CARRIES A MANDATORY LIFE SENTENCE WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE. LYMON HAD ALREADY BEEN SENTENCED TO DECADES IN PRISON FOLLOWING SEVERAL FEDERAL CONVICTIONS ON FIREARMS-RELATED CHARGES.
