Man Sentenced for Vehicular Homicide

A SANTA FE MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO SECOND DEGREE VEHICULAR HOMICIDE FOR A DWI RELATED CRASH THAT KILLED A MOTORCYCLIST IN 2017. PAULO VEGA-MENDOZA COULD GET 15 YEARS IN PRISON WHEN HE’S SENTENCED.

SIXTY-THREE YEAR OLD PAUL PADILLA DIED WHEN VEGA-MENDOZA CRASHED INTO HIM ON AIRPORT ROAD. THE SANTA FE NEW MEXICAN REPORTS THAT VEGA-MENDOZA’S BLOOD ALCOHOL CONTENT WAS MORE THAN TWICE THE LEGAL LIMIT.
