ALBUQUERQUE HAS ADDED 39 ACRES OF LAND TO ITS OPEN SPACE NETWORK. PARKS AND RECREATION DIRECTOR DAVE SIMON TELLS NEWSRADIO KKOB THERE ARE TWO PROPERTIES INVOLVED, LOCATED IN THE TIJERAS ARROYO AREA, EAST OF KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, HE SAYS THEY’RE FANTASTIC WILDLIFE HABITATS AND A GREAT PLACE FOR FAMILIES TO EXPERIENCE NATURE WITH THEIR CHILDREN. :

SIMON SAYS IT WAS A MORE THAN TWO YEAR PROCESS TO ADD THE OPEN SPACE LAND, WHICH NOW TOTALS MORE THAN 29-THOUSAND ACRES ACROSS THE CITY.
