APD Recordings Heard at Lymon Trial

THE FIRST WEEK OF DAVON LYMON’S MURDER TRIAL IS NEARING ITS END. THE TRIAL FOR THE MAN ACCUSED OF KILLING ALBUQUERQUE POLICE OFFICER DANIEL WEBSTER HEARD DISPATCH RECORDINGS ON THURSDAY FROM THE NIGHT WEBSTER WAS KILLED. IT ALSO INCLUDED GRAPHIC FOOTAGE FROM ANOTHER OFFICER’S LAPEL CAMERA.

KOB TV REPORTS ONE OFFICER WHO TESTIFIED SAID HE HEARD THE CALL GO OUT ON THE RADIO, AND HEARD WEBSTER’S VOICE, WHICH HE SAID SOUNDED PANICKED. THE DEFENSE INSISTS LYMON FIRED IN SELF DEFENSE.

LYMON IS ALREADY DOING 40 YEARS IN PRISON AFTER BEING SENTENCED FOR POSSESSING A FIREARM THE NIGHT WEBSTER WAS KILLED.
