A FORMER SANDIA NATIONAL LAB EMPLOYEE HAS BEEN ARRAIGNED ON CHARGES THAT, IF HE’S CONVICTED, COULD SEND HIM TO PRISON FOR UP TO TEN YEARS. THE U.S. ATTORNEYS OFFICE SAYS 37 YEAR OLD JOSHUA CORDOVA USED GOVERNMENT CREDIT CARDS TO PURCHASE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN MERCHANDISE FOR HIMSELF AND FAMILY MEMBERS.
AMONG THE ITEMS CORDOVA ALLEGEDLY BOUGHT WERE AN ENGAGEMENT RING AND A WEDDING BAND…PLUS ELECTRONICS, CLOTHING, AND APPLIANCES. HE’S BEEN RELEASED PENDING TRIAL.
