FOUR TEENAGERS DESCRIBED AS RUNAWAY JUVENILES FROM OUT OF STATE ARE NOW IN CUSTODY IN SANTA FE. THEY WERE ARRESTED FRIDAY AFTER TWO OF THEM ALLEGEDLY HELD UP A GAS STATION NEAR SANTA ROSA. NEW MEXICO STATE POLICE SAY ALL FOUR WERE IN A VEHICLE WHEN IT WAS STOPPED BY OFFICERS ON I-40 FOLLOWING THE ROBBERY.
TWO OF THEM, A 16 YEAR OLD AND A 17 YEAR OLD FROM NEBRASKA, ARE CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ARMED ROBBERY. THE OTHER TWO ARE CHARGED WITH CONSPIRACY. STATE POLICE SAY THE FOUR ADMITTED THAT THEY HAD COMMITTED SIMILAR HOLDUPS IN COLORADO AND TEXAS.
