THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN NEW MEXICO CHOOSING TO NOT HAVE THEIR CHILDREN FULLY VACCINATED IS GOING UP. THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SAYS THERE WERE JUST OVER 44-HUNDRED SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN WHO DID NOT GET FULLY VACCINATED IN 2018. THAT NUMBER IS UP FROM JUST OVER 43-HUNDRED IN 2017. MEASLES OUTBREAKS IN SEVERAL STATES ARE SAID TO STEM FROM CHILDREN NOT GETTING THE RECOMMENDED SERIES OF VACCINATIONS FOR THINGS SUCH AS MEASLES, MUMPS AND RUBELLA.
