TOPGOLF BROKE GROUND IN ALBUQUERQUE WEDNESDAY MORNING ON ITS NEW GOLF ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX AT I-25 AND MONTGOMERY, WHERE THE WATER PARK WAS ONCE LOCATED. TOPGOLF WILL INCLUDE A RESTAURANT INSIDE THE COMPLEX, WHICH IS COSTING 39 MILLIONS TO BUILD.
CHANNEL 4 NEWS REPORTS TOPGOLF HAS AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY AND BERNALILLO COUNTY TO GET MORE THAN 4-MILLION DOLLARS IN INCENTIVES AND TAX BREAKS. IN EXCHANGE, THE COMPANY HAS AGREED TO HIRE 200 NEW MEXICANS FOR TOPGOLF JOBS.
