Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Organizers of the Gathering of Nations Powwow say anywhere from 60 to 100-thousand people attended the event over the weekend, as Native American tribes gathered at Expo New Mexico. Dania Wahwasuck of Kansas was named Miss Indian World in the Saturday night pageant. She’s a member of the Prairie Band of the Potawatami Tribe.
