Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A mother accused of ordering her son to shoot a cousin’s boyfriend is facing charges. The fatal shooting of 32-year-old Richard Powell happened last Thursday night at an apartment in southeast Albuquerque. 44-year-old Munah Green, along with her son Rickey Rodgers, are both charged with open counts of murder. The son was on an ankle monitor at the time. Investigators says Green’s other son had been shot to death in 2015 in what was determined as a justifiable homicide.
