Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Her husband’s the Sheriff, now she wants to be on the City Council. Athenea Allen has announced a run for Albuquerque City Council District 5, representing the Westside. Mrs. Allen cites her experience as a national security professional with the federal government to qualify her to do what’s best for the safety of the citizens. She’s challenging Councilor Dan Lewis over issues such as excessive development and insufficient traffic enforcement.
