Surge in measles

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Measles cases in New Mexico and Texas have surged to 444, with a rise of 74 infections in just three days, marking one of the largest outbreaks in the U.S. in a decade. The outbreak, which began in late January in Gaines County, Texas, has seen cases increase to 270. As of March 27, the CDC confirmed 483 cases nationwide. Texas reported 400 cases, while New Mexico added one more, bringing its total to 44.
