Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — There’s been an arrest in an overnight hit and run that left one woman dead. Albuquerque police have charged 38-year-old Jonathan Gallegos with leaving the scene of an accident, resulting in death. Gallegos also admitted to drinking before the crash. Investigators are waiting for the results of a blood test before other charges are filed. The accident happened around 10:30pm on Tramway, just north of Cloudview. Two women were walking in the shoulder, when an SUV came up and hit one of the women…then left the scene.
