Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Police detectives have arrested 15-year-old suspect, William Garcia, in connection with the homicide of 63-year-old Scott Habermehl, who was killed in a bicycling accident. Garcia is one of three individuals accused of the crime. Along with 13-year-old Johnathan Overbay, Garcia faces charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, leaving the scene of an accident involving great bodily harm or death, and illegal firearm possession. Overbay was arrested earlier in March and will remain in custody until trial. Additionally, an 11-year-old linked to the case was arrested on March 18.
